Bernardo Paglia

A graduate of Journalism, Bernardo Paglia’s journey into image began with a curiosity during his time at college in São Paulo, Brazil. Interest evolved into fascination and then profession, as photographer and video producer.

He spent four years working and studying in Milan and Madrid before returning to Brazil where he devoted himself to photography for editorials in magazines and the production of documentaries and reports for television, in addition to producing bespoke content for companies.

Bernardo has also received various accolades and awards for his works as a film reporter and producer.

• Finalist ESSO Journalism Award in 2014, with the report "Gangs of El Salvador"

• Winner of the Human Rights Award from the OAB Rio Grande do Sul, with report at Serra Pelada.

 

• CNT Journalism Award for the Environment and Transport category, with the report on Floods in Rondônia and Acre
